~~~~WELCOME !!!~~~~
Wow...
It seems the harder I try the harder it is to get on here...with starting School, cleaning more houses and my little farm,,, and with being by myself it gets increasingly harder....
to begin with a friend started a blog and here is her url,,,go there and see if you'd like to follow her blog....
I went to a little church by where I live and I was greatly impressed at what was taught there...I really believe that NOTHING is a accident...
The teaching was on "Follow me"...
This video really gets down to facts and truths of REALLY following Jesus....
Click on the link and scroll down to the
6-29-14 date....
I really don't know if I can do  it or not, but, I do believe that is what my hubby talked about before he died, that, he wanted me to really know what it meant to "Follow Jesus"....Do You ?
What is it going to take each of us to get to Heaven? Can we fiddle around and half heartedly try, can we make fun of those who want to try and not come up alongside them and help them...?
Can we afford to make fun or "not like" someone?
Can we say it and not live it?  I don't know what it is going to take for you , but, for me, I know I had better fall on my knees and repent and try to
 ~~~"Follow HIM"!!!~~~

Check out my other blog...

thanks for stopping by...

 Hi ! Welcome to all who read my blog..."The Contented Women  Now"..

~~~~***WELCOME***~~~~
~~~~Holy Conviction~~~~

I want to be good, don't you?
Are you like me and sometimes think I will NEVER over come my flesh..... I wonder if most of us are the same in this area....
I want to do justly and love mercy and walk humbly. I just want to do the right thing.
Sometimes that is so hard. Didn’t someone say something one time, way back, about that thing which I ought to do, I don’t; and that thing I do, I ought not to? (Romans 7:15)

It is simply three words: A Holy Conviction.

A Holy Conviction will help me do justly,
 will help me love mercy,
 will help me walk humbly, eat healthy, and get fresh air, and exercise.....
A Holy Conviction is when the lightbulb comes on and you realize you are doing the right thing because IT IS the right thing to do.
Not because your Pastor or your  buddy or even your husband said to. Only because it IS good and right and you are convinced of that way down deep in your heart, in the place God put it, where no one can discourage it away from you.
A Holy Conviction will help me look at others in the eye when their talking to me.
A Holy Conviction will get me pulling out The Bible and seeing what God’s saying—even when I’d rather watch a DVD  and/or dream about things that don’t exist.
I just want to do the right thing because it’s right.

 That’s A Holy Conviction.

Hello to all who read my blog..."The Contented Women Now"....

~~~~***WELCOME***~~~~
Many times we just don't share How to be saved..I thought this was wonderful....
SalvationFamilyThe following Scriptures are known as the Roman Road to Salvation. They are Scriptures from the book of Romans which show God's wondrous way of salvation. It is important that we know these Scriptures. It is most important that our children know these Scriptures. It shows them the way to experience salvation through Jesus Christ. It shows them how to lead another person to Christ.  That doesn't mean that this is the only way to share Christs plan for Salvation with someone...
It is so sad that many Christians today do not even know Scriptures that can help lead someone to Christ. When I talk to young people I find that most of them don't even know these Scriptures, and these are young people who have been brought up in homeschooling families. This is unbelievable! Don't let this be the testimony of your children.
I will list the Scriptures for you.Go through them with your children. If they have not yet received Christ into their lives as their Lord and Savior, encourage them to do this. If they are already born again, they need to not only know about, but to memorize these Scriptures so they are equipped to lead another person to Jesus.
1. All have sinned
We have all sinned and therefore fall short of God's standard.
Romans 3:10; 3:23; and 5:12
2. There is a penalty for sin.
If we remain in our sin, we will die, but if we repent and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will have eternal life.
Romans 6:23
3. Christ died for us
Even though we are sinners, God loves us and sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die in our place and take the punishment of sin.
Romans 5:8
4. Call upon the Lord
We must call upon the Lord. God promises that when we call upon the name of the Lord we will be saved. There is no other name through which we can receive salvation.
Romans 10:13
5. We must believe and confess
We must believe in our hearts that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), but we must also confess out loud with our mouth that He is Lord and Savior.
Romans 10: 9, 10
6. It's a faith walk
We receive God's salvation by faith. When we are saved, we keep walking by faith which grows stronger as we read God's Word every day.
Romans 10:17
If you have never received Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God into your life and been born again, or if your children are not yet born again, here is a prayer to pray:
"Dear Father, I know that I have sinned and deserve the punishment of my sin which is death. But I thank you that you died in my place and took my sin upon yourself as you died upon the cross and shed your precious blood. Please forgive me for my sin and cleanse me with your precious blood. I thank you that you died, were buried, and rose again for me. I ask you to come into my life and to be Lord of my life. I confess right now that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD AND SAVIOR OF MY LIFE. Amen.,"
When you are born again into God's family, you are a new baby in Christ. A baby only grows by drinking milk. The more you feed from God's Word the more you will grow strong in your faith and in your walk with God. Read God's Word daily.
BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY......
2 Corinthians 5:18
"...while we look not at the  things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things  which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
What thoughts....
If were only looking at the things of this world, ie. houses, people, cars, careers, clothing, other people, children, the list could go on and on etc.   Our eyes are not only off Christ and "His" things, but, our thoughts, actions, words, etc. are of this world and Scripture tells us to NOT do that...yet, we are so human and weak, without HIM and HIS Salvation ...where would/are we today ?
Created to Be His Helpmeet... cont'd(from The Contented Woman blog)
Mama, Why am I so Dumb ?
I have been around some real dumb kids...I ask them "Did you see the eclipse last night?" STARE. "I hear your daddy is designing a new program for the flight school?"
STARE. "Did your mom put whole wheat flour in these cookies?' STARE.
Mama answers. "She doesn't cook yet, and he doesn't know his daddy works at the flight center. My husband and I enjoyed the eclipse, but it was too cold for the children to come outside, besides, they were watching a video."
   We visited a family whose father also works at the flight center and spoke to a child who is two, almost three years old. "Donnie, did you see the eclipse last night?" "Yep, and the Milky Way too. We looked through a "telyyyscrope!""I heard your daddy is designing a new program for the flight school?" "Yep, my daddy is showing them how to build a better airplane cause he is smart and I am smart and I can build a airplane with my legos, but it cannot fly because....""Because, why?"  "It hasn't got a motor," He explained.
I decided to check out his knowledge of the kitchen, "Did your mom use whole wheat flour for these cookies?" Right on cue he responded, "Yep they are sooooo healthy. Do you want to see my muscles? Mom lets me mix up the cookies cause I am strong."
   Knowledge is something given bit by bit. It sound almost like computer-age learning: Lots of little bits make a big byte, and away we go to the  kilobytes and megabytes of information, all stored in little bits! The Scripture says it like this,
"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand  doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be  upon precept, precept upon precept: line upon line, line upon line: here a little, and there a little"(Isaiah 28:9-10.
Hope you enjoyed the first of the rest of the "Created To Be His Helpmeet"...book...
What about your children ?
Hello to all who read this blog "The Contented Women Today"....
~~~~***WELCOME***~~~~

Do we repent first then get saved or is this backward ??

Repent/cleaning up ones heart/life before coming to Jesus...that statement rocks my world, I am in the middle of learning what it is exactly..if it is just a play on words or if one truly needs to repent first...somehow I just cant see cleaning myself up first(my flesh) then allowing Jesus to save me...I really believe that is backwards...but,,,I want to find out..
I truly don't feel like I want to sit by and watch people go down the wrong road, been there done  that....

When Peter preached the truth about Jesus Christ in Acts chapter two, he left thousands of listeners wondering what they should do next.
The apostle’s response in verse 38 is simple. He says, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.”(Not one of them had cleaned up/made room for) As a result, 3,000 people were added to their numbers that day.
Is this the message of most churches today? Does it seem strange that Peter said “repent” instead of “believe”? Actually, Scripture often uses these concepts together. Repentance and faith are two sides of the same coin. Both are essential for salvation and each is dependent upon the other.
But, in terms of salvation, you can’t separate faith and repentance. Is  this what your saying ?To be saved, you must place faith in Christ for the forgiveness of sins. That decision requires a change of mind, or repentance, about your way of life. Both happen at the same time.
Yet, many people mistakenly believe they must repent before they can make a faith decision for Jesus. Repentance doesn’t mean we must completely change our ways and “clean ourselves up” so we can then receive Christ as Lord. There should actually be no delay or separation between repentance and isfaith.
If 0ne  holding off on a decision for Christ until you think you’re “ready” or “worthy,” then you’re waiting in vain. Jesus is ready to receive you right now. Only as a child of God will you find the power - His power - to truly become the person He created you to be.
I see the problem with repenting first(if that is what your meaning),,,,,

What do you think about this..PLEASE leave your comments .....
